BIKE VALET

We encourage everyone to ride their bike to the festival! The Kiwanis Bike Program is hosting a safe and secure bike valet at the corner of Idlewild and Cowan. The bike valet is free! Donations are optional and highly appreciated.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Yes! We love dogs and love to see them enjoying RiverFest with their human companions. In fact, we’ve create a brand new festival experience just for pups!

OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES

Pet owners need to fill out a form upon entering the festival which includes information about their pet. Pets are required to be leashed at all times while inside the festival unless they are in the Bark Park. Owners need to use the provided bags for disposal of pet waste. If your dog becomes aggressive toward people or other animals, you will be required to remove them from the event immediately. Pet owners are liable for any and all damage or injury caused by their pet.

WHAT IS THE BARK PARK?

RiverFest’s Bark Park is a special space for your four-legged friend featuring freshwater stations, ball pits, pet-friendly vendors, and exciting dog-centered activities. Go on or off leash for this new adventure with your best friend!

ARE THERE SINGLE DAY PASS OPTIONS?

HOW MANY DRINKS ARE ON THE TOUR?

2025 is our largest drink lineup ever! We pouring premium craft beers from local breweries including Revision, Lead Dog, 10 Torr, Parlay 6, and Tahoe Aleworx plus some national favorites. We also have refreshing hard selzters and canned cocktails for you to sip and sample. Overall, we’re pour 30+ different varieties!

WHAT ARE THE BAR THEMES?

In 2025, for the first time ever, we’re theming our RiverFest bars to bring you a new experience with every refill! The theme is Hop Through Time – a tour of some of the most iconic time periods.

WHERE DO I CHECK-IN?

You can check in at any of our RiverFest Check-In Tents. When you receive your RiverFest entry wristband, you’ll get a card to present to the bartenders at any of our RiverFest bars. They’ll give you your cup, map, and explain the tour.

HOW LATE CAN I CHECK IN FOR THE TOUR?

Tours must be redeemed at least two hours before closing each day.

IS MY HOPS & HAPPINESS TOUR VALID FOR ALL THREE DAYS OF THE FESTIVAL? 

Yes! Your Hops & Happiness Tour includes a RiverFest entry Pass which is valid for all three days of the festival. When you check-in at one of our entry tents, you’ll be given a wristband. DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE MY MAP IN ONE DAY?

You can complete your map at your own pace. Just hold onto your map and you can come any day of the festival to complete your samples.

IF I LOSE MY MAP, CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT?

Your map is your ticket to the tour. You need it to get your samples. Hold on to it! If you lose your map and want to continue sampling, you will have to purchase a new tour.

CAN I SHARE MY MAP?

Sure! If you want to split your samples with someone who is 21 or older with a RiverFest entry Pass, that’s fine with us.

IF I LOSE MY CUP, CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT?

We have a limited number of cups and they are only guaranteed to those who pre-purchased a Tour. There are no replacement cups.

CAN I GET THE SAME SAMPLE MORE THAN ONCE?

Yes, you can. If you find a drink you really enjoy, you can use your map to get as many samples of it as you like.

The VIP line is located at the Main RiverFest Check-In Tent at the entrance to Idlewild Park on Cohan Drive. Once you’re in the festival, head over to the VIP Tent inside The Grove and check-in with your VIP host. Your host will give you either a redemption card for the Hops & Hapiness Tour or a card for your 6 drink vouchers. It’s your choice! If you choose the Hops & Happiness Tour, present your card to the bartenders at any of our RiverFest bars. They’ll give you your cup, map, and explain the tour.

IS MY VIP ADVENTURE PASS VALID FOR ALL THREE DAYS OF THE FESTIVAL?

I’M BRINGING MY KIDS. DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A VIP ADVENTURE PASS FOR THEM TO JOIN ME IN THE VIP AREAS?

Nope. Kids 17 and under get free admission to the Reno River Festival. When you check-in to the festival, your child will be given a special wristband that allows them to go into the VIP Tent and VIP restroom areas with you.

CAN I CHECK IN IF MY ENTIRE PARTY HASN’T ARRIVED YET?

The person who purchased the VIP Table is responsible for checking in. At VIP check-in, you will be given all six wristbands for your table. If a member of your party arrives at the festival after you, you will need to meet them outside of the festival gates to give them their wristbands.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH VIP TABLE IS MINE?

After you check-in at the Main RiverFest Check-In Tent, head over to the MusicFest VIP area. Your VIP host will get you set up with your food and drink vouchers and help you choose your table for the day. Tables are first come, first served.

HOW DO I CHOOSE BETWEEN THE COOKIES AND THE DONUTS?

Right?! Its too hard to choose! When you make a decision, let your VIP host know and they will get your table your treats.

IS MY VIP TABLE VALID FOR ALL THREE DAYS OF THE FESTIVAL? 

Unless you reserved a table for all three days, your table reservation is valid only for the day you reserved. The VIP Tables have a personal host, and the table you reserve is yours to enjoy for the entire day. If you do leave your belongings, you do so at your own risk.

That wristband is your Pass and let’s you come and go as you please. There will be entry points for festivalgoers who already have their wristbands, so you don’t have to get back in a long line.

WHAT’S THE RIDE TIME?

The estimated round trip is 2 hours. This time includes your shuttle ride to Mayberry Park and your nearly 5-mile ride down the Truckee River.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

All riders must be 7 years of age or older and all riders under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

WHERE AND WHEN DO I CHECK-IN?

• Check-in for the festival at any of our RiverFest Check-in Tents to receive your RiverFest entry Pass wristband
• Check-in for the Great Reno River Rally is located inside the festival at the Adventure Tent. You’ll find it on the North end of the festival by the Bucket Golf course.
• Please check-in at least ONE HOUR before your chosen rafting time. The time you chose is when IRIE plans to get your raft into the river. You need to give yourself and your party plenty of time before your tour begins for check in as well as for the shuttle ride to the river entry point.
• Please have all members of your rafting party with you at time of check in.
• Everyone in your party must sign a waiver at the time of check in to ride in the Great Reno River Rally.

WHERE DO I PUT MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS?

Lockers will be provided at the Adventure Tent for you to securely leave your personal items.

HOW DO WE GET TO THE RIVER ENTRY POINT?

Parties will be shuttled to the river entry point based on their chosen rafting time and based on the order in which they check in. We will have two shuttles running to and from the river entry point.

WHAT IMPORTANT INFO DO I NEED TO KNOW?

• Due to the popularity of this experience, please allow for flexibility on your chosen rafting time.
• Please remember that all riders must be 7 years of age or older and all riders under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
• For your safety and the safety of others, don’t show up intoxicated.
• Riders must wear their lifevests and helmets at all times during the rafting tour.
• Riders must sign a waiver at check-in to participate.
• IRIE has the right to refuse to let anyone on their rafts. If IRIE determines not to allow you to participate in the Great Reno River Rally for any reason, you will not receive a refund.

ANY TIPS FROM IRIE?

• Wear shoes that won’t fall off your feet. Avoid flip flops or any type of loose sandal.
• Don’t bring your keys, wallet, phone, or anything you don’t want to lose onto the raft.
• Your expert rafting guide will give you a safety presentation at the river entry point as well as provide everyone in your party life jackets and helmets.

WHERE DOES THE RIDE FINISH?

The Great Reno River Rally will end inside the Reno River Festival. Once your ride is over, please head back to the Adventure Tent to receive your I Survived RiverFest Rafting button, and any personal items you left inside the Adventure Tent lockers.

WHAT IS BUCKET GOLF?

Bucket Golf is a blend of a yard game and golf. Instead of aiming for a hole in the ground, players aim to land a wiffle-style ball into a bucket using a wedge golf club.

HOW CAN I PLAY THE COURSE?

There’s two ways to play the course. You can enter the tournament to play for prizes and bragging rights or you can sign up for a recreational round and play just for fun.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

Our Bucket Golf course is open to all ages! Play with your friends or your family. Players under 17 must be accompanied on the course by an adult.

RiverFest’s Reno Tahoe Adventure Park features everything from human hamster balls to bounce houses to a train to a mega trampoline jump. There’s something for the just about every adventure level!

HOW DO I PURCHASE ADVENTURE PARK ACTIVITIES?

Adventure Park rides and experiences can be purchased on-site from the ride vendors.

WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH MY ART ON THE ROCKS RESERVATION?

Art on the Rocks includes

Yes! To purchase on-site, visit Van Gogh & Vino in the Art on the Rocks area within the festival. There are limited spots, and they will fill-up quickly, so we do suggest pre-purchasing online.

HOW TO I PARTICIPATE IN YOGA IN THE PARK?

All you need to do is grab your yoga mat and show up! Reno’s locally-owned The Studio is offering free yoga classes all 3 days of RiverFest.

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A RIVERFEST PASS?

Nope. All yoga participants receive FREE entry into the Reno River Festival!

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE RUBBER DUCK SCAVENGER HUNT?

There will be hundreds of rubber ducks hidden throughout the festival. When you find one, head over to our Merch Tent inside the Grove to collect a prize!

I SEE REMOTE CONTROL BOATS ON THE RIVERFEST MAP. HOW CAN I DRIVE THOSE?

Just head on over! Our remote control boats are free-to-play and open to all ages.

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?

Yes! All of our ticket tents and our RiverFest bars accept both cash and cards. Most of our vendors inside Food Fest and Vendor Village also accept credit cards. We will have an ATM on-site.

DO I NEED MY ID IF I WANT TO DRINK ALCOHOL?

Yup. Our bartenders will not serve you without a 21+ wristband, and you can’t get one of those without a valid ID. We will have ID stations throughout the park. You will need to get a new 21+ wristband each day.
