Take your best shot with Scheel’s at RiverFest’s brand-new 18-hole Bucket Golf course! Our sprawling course across Idlewild Park features golf cart drink service, tee times, and hazards. Play in the RiverFest tournaments for prizes or hit the course just for fun. Players of all skill levels are invited to drive and chip their way to the top of the leaderboard!

WHAT IS IT

Bucket Golf is an outdoor hybrid of golf and yard games created to bring people together. Instead of aiming for a hole in the ground, players aim to land a wiffle-style ball into a bucket using a wedge golf club.

THE SCHEDULE

FRIDAY: 11AM – 6PM

Free Play – anyone with a RiverFest Pass can play the course

SATURDAY: 11AM – 7PM

HOW TO PLAY

QUICK RULES

Every Hole is Par 3 – Every hole in Bucket Golf is a par 3, which means you have 3 shots to hit the bucket to get a par for every hole.
Stick with your Club – Each player is only allowed to use 1 club per game no switching allowed.
In the Bucket – Hitting any part of the bucket completes the hole; chipping your ball inside the bucket deducts one stroke from your score on that hole. (Hitting theflag stick and not the bucket does not count).
Hazards – If a player hits their ball into the foliage (bushes, water, plants, etc.) they must take a drop no closer to the hole from where the ball went out and a 1 stroke penalty.
