On Mother’s Day Weekend, downtown Reno will transform into the ultimate summer kick-off party. Celebrating its 15th year, the Reno River Festival is taking adventure to a whole new level. The festivities feature food, shopping, family-friendly rides and attractions, a Craft Beer Experience, a Summer Wine Village, live music featuring nationally recognized artists, a Mother-Daughter Look-A-Like Contest, and the Reno River Roll: one of the most unique bike rides in Northern Nevada. In the center of it all, the world’s top whitewater athletes take on the Truckee River Whitewater Park.
The Reno River Festival has become one of the region’s biggest events and marks the beginning of event season in Northern Nevada.

Bigger & More Amped Up Than Ever!

This moving concert is a celebration of everything bicycle. The Island of Black and White will take you on a soulful, slow ride with a performance and a sound system that will turn heads. The lead singer will weave through the costumed crowd of cyclists as you take an unforgettable tour of the streets of Reno. 2018 features a brand new 7-mile course. The Roll will begin and end with a party under the newly Reno Arch. Celebrate in the heart of downtown, roll through the streets with the band, then show off your best dance moves at the after-party. It will all be shut down just for you!

5 Goes Back to Charity of Your Choice
The Reno River Roll is the official kick-off to Bike Week in Northern Nevada. When you sign-up, you have the option to make a difference to a local bike association. $5 of your registration will go to either the Kiwanis Bike Program, the Reno Bike Project, or the Truckee Meadows Bike Association. It’s your choice! We will match the donations of whichever non-profit receives the most votes. There will also be a raffle at the Reno River Festival to benefit all three programs.
The Reno River Roll is open to all ages and all types of bicycles. All pre-registrants will receive a River Roll nap sack stuffed with goodies. Grab your favorite bicycle, put on your craziest costume, and get ready for the most unique ride of your life!

Kids (7 -12 years): $15
Kids 6 and Under: Free (must be secured in bike seat or bike trailer)

Ride in your best get-up in one of the largest, most unique bikes rides in all of Northern Nevada. Then park your bike at the free bike valet within the Reno River Festival and spend the rest of the day sitting back and sampling libations in either the Craft Beer Village or the Summer Wine Village. The Summer Wine Village
A Taste Adventure
Saturday, May 12th & Sunday, May 13th

This is summer bottled into a crisp taste adventure. The Summer Wine Village gives you VIP seating to the concerts in the park. It features a wide range of Reds, Whites, Roses, Champagnes, and Sangrias. The Reno River Festival has carefully selected each wine and sangria blend to embody the refreshing taste of summer. Village goers can sit back in the summer-themed, shaded tent, sip wine from a vast range of origins, and enjoy performances by nationally recognized artists.
Each flight includes a commemorative wine cup and approximately 1/2 glass in each sample. Flight options will be released March 1st. Space and samples are limited.

The Reno-Tahoe Adventure Park
Ride, Bounce, Play, or Dare?

The 2018 adrenaline-pumping Reno-Tahoe Adventure Park features the largest collection of obstacles, rides, challenges, and games ever. The park boats a summer carnival atmosphere with one-of-a-kind thrills for the entire family. The festival is bringing in a whole new slew of mechanical rides, bounce houses, and games. Favorites, including Mega Trampoline Bungee, Zip Line, and Mega Rock Wall, will return with improvements for shorter lines creating more time for adventure. Whether you have little ones who live to bounce or you want to fly high above the Truckee River rapids, the Adventure Park has fun for everyone.

Full-Scale Music Festival within the Festival

Presented by CustomInk, these free concerts in the park feature performances by nationally recognized artists. The full-scale music festival has become the place to see artists before they hit it really big. Since 2014, the music line-up has featured CMA award-winning artist Old Dominion and chart-topping artists such as Drake White and the Big Fire, Brooke Eden, Clare Dunn, American Young, Jackson Michelson and more.

In 2018, we are working toward securing the event’s most significant and recognizable headliners to date. Through our partnerships we will continue to grow and develop this element of the Reno River Festival into the most anticipated activity of the weekend.



Whitewater Competitions
The Heart of the Reno River Festival
Saturday, May 12th & Sunday, May 13th

Presented by Nature’s Bakery, the whitewater competitions are the heart of the Reno River Festival. The Truckee River Whitewater Park is one of the top courses on the circuit, drawing top athletes from all over the world.

Professional men, women, and juniors will compete in Freestyle and other whitewater events for more than $10,000 in prizes.”
